Stephen is an Architectural Associate at InSite with a passion for historic preservation. He assists with research, field work, and report writing for many historic projects at ICA. A native of the Detroit area, Stephen serves as the historian and archivist for Friends of Detroit Rowing which sponsors the Detroit Boat Club Crew, the second oldest rowing club in the United States. He also serves as the lead archivist for the Detroit Boat Club, the oldest yachting club in the Americas.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys researching and writing about the history of the Detroit Boat Club and rowing in the Midwest, digging through his family’s genealogy, and he continues to train as a competitive rower.
