Oscar Izaguirre is a Principal/Partner and Owner at ICA, where he also serves as Director of Marketing and Business Development. In this role, he plays a key part in shaping the firm’s strategic growth, client relationships, and long-term vision. With over 22 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, his work is grounded in a belief that meaningful preservation is not only about protecting historic fabric, but also about strengthening the people, communities, and stories connected to it.

At ICA, Oscar focuses on building lasting partnerships with institutional, public-sector, and cultural clients, helping position the firm for continued growth while maintaining its commitment to technical excellence and thoughtful service. He is also deeply invested in fostering a collaborative and people-centered workplace culture—one that supports mentorship, professional development, and shared ownership of the firm’s future.

Oscar is passionate about expanding access to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, with a particular focus on creating pathways for Black and Brown professionals. He actively seeks opportunities to elevate diverse voices within preservation and the broader AEC field, recognizing that a wider range of perspectives strengthens both the profession and the communities it serves.
