Nathan DeMaster, UAS Pilot
Architectural Associate / BIM Manager / UAS Pilot

Nathan DeMaster is an Architectural Associate and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager at InSite. With more than two decades of experience with multiple types of architectural software, Nathan oversees the firm’s BIM process and provides leadership to ensure that BIM policies, procedures, standards, and processes are properly implemented and maintained throughout the course of a project. He also develops and drafts architectural and engineering site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details, assists management in preparing proposals, and generates correspondence for clients and project managers.

Nathan is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Pilot and has been flying drones for 8 years. He brings his passion (and professional-quality equipment) to ICA and routinely uses his drones to map the firm’s project sites and properties to create high resolution, geo-referenced images that are combined with detailed data points.

When not at work, you can find Nathan helping coach one of his 3 girls in softball or out in the woods enjoying nature or hunting. He also enjoys building; currently building a large garage from the ground up, entailing cutting down the trees, milling them into lumber, designing trusses and building it all.
