La Rosita Mexican Grocery Store

Project Background

This exciting project delivered a vibrant new Mexican grocery store and taqueria. This is La Rosita’s second location. The first/original La Rosita is on Monona Drive in Monona, Wisconsin. The new store was a complete build-out of the former Family Video in Sun Prairie. Working closely with the Owner and Sun Prairie Inspection Officials, InSite helped refine a detailed layout of the shelving, kitchen equipment, open seating and deli support spaces. InSite worked closely with the Building Owner and all the major Mechanical Contractors and equipment suppliers to coordinate building system services.

Solution
  • Our team conducted a rigorous survey of the existing building to document existing conditions and identify building systems and code compliance needs.
  • The project program includes a restaurant with a 4,200 square foot grocery store and a restaurant with a capacity to seat (40) which serves Mexican cuisine all within an existing commercial space.
  • Careful coordination of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and kitchen equipment.
  • Provided a comprehensive design and coordination services were provided through the end of the construction phase.
